All prices for farming goods are dynamic and are calculated globally across all servers. That means the price for iron bars on server 1 is the same as on server 2.
The price calculation is a complex process and depends on the number of items sold as well as synergy effects between the different goods.
For example: you sell a lot of iron -> the iron price drops -> another price goes up.
The current prices of legal goods can be checked via the Market-App on the smartphone or via the User-Panel. Prices of illegal goods can only be seen if the Black-Market-App is installed.
Market events
On top of the regular supply-and-demand pricing, random market events can occur. A market event temporarily raises the selling price of a specific group of goods, giving you a window to cash in if you have the right items in stock or can produce and process them fast enough.
When an event starts, every player receives a Market Event notification describing what is in demand. A second notification is sent once the event ends and prices return to normal.
How it works
- Events trigger at random and become more likely while the server is well populated.
- Only a few events run at the same time, and each one lasts a limited amount of time before prices settle back down.
- While an event is active, the affected goods show a boosted price in the Market-App. The tooltip tells you exactly how much the price went up and how many minutes the event will still last.
- Events are calculated globally, so the boost applies on every server at the same time.
Possible events
| Event | Goods in demand | Price boost | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Metal boom | Copper & iron bars | +30% | ~30 min |
| Precious metals rush | Silver & gold bars | +50% | ~45 min |
| Gold rush | Gold bars | +25% | ~30 min |
| Wood boom | Wood planks, firewood & charcoal | +25% | ~25 min |
| Construction boom | Wood planks & glass | +30% | ~30 min |
| Glass demand | Glass | +35% | ~25 min |
| Fabric demand | Fabric & polyester | +10% | ~60 min |
| Honey season | Blue & red honey | +25% | ~45 min |
| Fuel crisis | Petrol canisters | +100% | ~30 min |
| Drug demand | Blue mushrooms, weed, purified weed & meth | +40% | ~25 min |
| Mushroom season | Blue mushrooms | +20% | ~40 min |
Boost values and durations may be adjusted over time. The current boost and the remaining time are always shown live in the Market-App tooltip.
