Group Spots
Gang spots are a way for gangs to show their dominance over other gangs. They can be taken by any gang and bring advantages over not taking them.
Gang-Spots Basics
The following framework was created for the gang spot fights:
- A Gang Spot Event is started by capturing the flag within the respective spot.
- During this time, people within the radius marked in red on the map count for their side (attacker, defender).
- The current state of capture is shown by the green bar in the HUD.
- Participating players are allowed to kill other participating players within the zone without interaction.
- During an active event, it is possible for the players involved to kill other event members without affecting their respective reputation.
- In case of a server crash, the involved parties have two minutes to continue the event.
- Once the event is over, all combat operations must cease immediately.
The event is considered over if one of these three points occurs:
- The attackers have reached the points needed to take over.
- The defenders returned the points of the attackers to 0.
- There is no attacker left in the zone.
Rules
During the Gang Spot Event, different rules apply to the people involved than during normal gaming operations. These are to be read through under Rules
How to Capture
The following steps have to be fulfilled, in order to capture a gang spot:
- Be within a gang
- Locate the Team ELAN flag pole
- Fulfill the action
- Fight until you won/lost (green bar)
Advantages
Vacuum-Sealer
The smuggler village currently houses two vacuum sealers, which are available to the respective gang upon successful capture. These can only be used by the gang that is actively controlling the Smuggler Village.
Smuggler Goodies
Within the Smuggler Village, a local merchant is based and sells some helpful, yet illegal, items through his store. This merchant is only available to the gang that is actively in control of Smuggler's Village.
