The following steps have to be fulfilled, in order to capture a gang spot:
* '''Active RP Engagement:''' If the police are involved in an active role-play (RP) scenario, such as chasing suspects, they are allowed to continue their engagement even if the suspects flee to a gang spot and initiate an event.

Gang spots are a way for groups to show their dominance over other groups and unlock some advantages.

Basics

The following framework was created for fights around the group spot:

  • A group spot event is started by capturing the flag within the respective spot.
  • During this time, members within the radius count for their side (attacker, defender).
  • The current state of capture is shown by the green bar in the HUD.
  • Participating players are allowed to kill other participating players within the zone without interaction.
  • During an active event, it is possible for the players involved to kill other event members without affecting their respective reputation.
  • In case of a server restart, the involved parties have two minutes to continue the event.
  • Once the event is over, all combat operations must cease immediately.

The event is considered over if one of these three points occurs:

  1. The attackers have reached the points needed to take over.
  2. The defenders returned the points of the attackers to 0.
  3. There is no attacker left in the zone.

Rules

During the Gang Spot Event, different rules apply to the people involved than during normal gaming operations.
