Games
Besides the daily grind there are several games you can play directly in the world: a full chess system with a competitive rating and three arcade machines with global highscore boards. Playing is completely free – unlike the Casino there is no money involved, you play for fame and leaderboard spots only.
Where to play
The games are currently available at these locations (more may follow):
- Montignac market – games NPC with all three arcade machines and chess
- Saint-Philippe market – the dedicated chess area with several chess tables, marked on the map with a knight icon
- The prison – yes, really. The yard has its own chess tables and a games NPC, so you can perfect your Snake highscore while serving your sentence. Time flies when you are having fun – your lawyer, however, still will not call you back.
Chess
You can challenge other players to a real game of chess at any chess table.
- Starting a game: Open the chess lobby, pick a player standing nearby and send an invite. The invite shows your name and rating to your opponent and expires after 60 seconds if it is not answered.
- Playing: All standard chess rules apply, including check, checkmate, stalemate and draws. You can resign at any time.
- Chess clock: Every player has limited thinking time. If your clock runs out, you lose the game.
- Stay at the board: Walking away from the board (or disconnecting) counts as a resignation.
Elo rating
Every player has a personal Elo rating. After each game your rating goes up or down depending on the result and the strength of your opponent – beating a stronger player earns you more points than beating a weaker one. Your rating and match history are global across all servers.
The Top 100 chess players and your personal record can be viewed in the User panel.
Arcade machines
Three classic arcade games, each with its own global highscore list:

| Space Invaders | The arcade classic: shoot down the descending alien formation, use the four shields as cover and pick off the red UFO for bonus points. The fewer aliens remain, the faster they get. An extra life is awarded at 1,500 points, every cleared wave starts harder. |
| Snake | Steer the snake across the grid and eat the red food to grow. Every fifth food spawns a blinking golden bonus fruit that is worth extra points but disappears quickly. Walls and your own tail are deadly, and the snake gets faster with every bite. |
| Heli Escape | One-button action: tap to climb, release to fall, and thread your UH-1 through the gaps in the rocks while the admin heli chases you. The score is your flown distance in meters. The longer you survive, the faster it gets and the tighter the gaps become. |
Controls
All machines share the same controls (gamepad fully supported):

Highscores
- Every finished run is recorded – your best run counts for the leaderboard, so one player holds exactly one spot per game.
- The boards are global across all servers.
- At the machine you see the Top 10 on the start screen and can open the full Top 25 with the highscore key.
- The User panel has an arcade page with the all-time Top 25 and a weekly Top 10 for every game.
- Scores are verified automatically – impossible runs are discarded, so the boards stay legit.
- If you walk away from the machine (or someone drags you away), the game closes automatically and your current run is submitted.
