Recording and Sharing Xbox Clips

This guide will walk you through recording clips on your Xbox, sharing them in support tickets, and uploading them to YouTube.

How to Clip on Xbox for Support Tickets

  1. Download and install the Xbox app:
  * Google Play Store
  * App Store
  1. Sign in using your Xbox account.
  1. Once signed in, go to the Captures tab (represented by three books).
  1. You’ll now see your uploaded videos and pictures.
  1. Select a video or photo. When the menu appears, wait for the upload to complete and then click Copy Link.

Once you’ve copied the link, you can paste it into a support ticket or share it with your friends! 🎮

How to Upload Xbox Clips to YouTube

  1. Make sure the Xbox app is installed. (Download it from the Google Play Store or App Store if necessary.)
  1. Sign in with your Xbox account.
  1. Open the Captures tab.
  1. Select the video you wish to upload and click Save to download it.
  1. Download the YouTube app if you don’t have it yet:
  * Google Play Store
  * App Store
  1. Sign in to YouTube. Tap the + button at the bottom of the screen.
  1. Select the clip you downloaded, then press Next.
  1. Add a title and description to your video. Once done, press Next in the top-right corner.
