* Justice is blind but fair. Charges are applied judiciously to ensure fairness and justice.
The EPD currently does have 4 different divisions, including certain subdivisions or special officers who manage certain on-duty responsibilities in addition to their normal patrol

== Undercover Unit ==
=== Academy ===
* Undercover operations are delicate and require specific conditions. The formation of an undercover unit adheres to strict guidelines to ensure both safety and effectiveness.
The academy is responsible for training officers within the department. They are usually the first contact when it comes to new officers [[Police Application|being hired]] for the PD and stick with them for their whole career in the department.

== Off-Duty Expectations ==
==== Academy Basic ====
* The badge might be off, but the duty remains. Off-duty officers, as representatives of the EPD, must abstain from any illegal activities.
The Basic subdivision of the academy is responsible for handling training of Cadets. They do take care of the applications, the interview phase and the Cadet induction, which is where every officer in the EPD starts their career at. After that, they make sure that each of those newly assigned officers is equipped with the basic skillset to get on duty on their own.
* The sale of illegal items is strictly prohibited, irrespective of the officer's duty status.

== Patrol Sectors ==
==== Academy Advanced ====
The vast expanse of Everon is divided into various sectors for effective policing. Each sector has its designated radio frequency, ensuring seamless communication.
On the other hand, the advanced subdivsion handles the training of all other officers within the department. Training is an essential part of the police department, which is why the Academy is one of the backbones of the department's success.

== Grievances ==
=== Special Units ===
The EPD values transparency and accountability. Citizens with concerns regarding an officer's conduct can approach an instructor or chief of police in-roleplay. If neither is available, any on-duty officer can be approached to request the presence of an instructor or chief. Every grievance is addressed with the utmost seriousness and diligence.
The special units division does cover a various amount of topics in the department, but is primarily able to stop drug trafficking, illegal weapons and handle the traffic around Everon. They have a wide range of set goals based on their subdivision.

==== Customs ====
The customs unit does take care of everything related to drugs and illegal weapons on Everon. Due to their important position to upkeep the peace on Everon, they do have the right to conduct searches on any person and vehicle. They are usually found around the more active cities, or on missions to stop trafficking in abandoned spots.

==== Traffic Unit ====
Ever got a ticket by one of the speed cameras on Everon? That is when you got caught by the Traffic Unit subdivsion. They are responsible to upkeep the peace on the streets of Everon. They are able to deploy and set up speed cameras to check if civilians align with the Everon Road Traffic Code and have the certification to deploy one of the fastest cars in Everon.

==== Air Support (Falcon) ====
Even though the Air Support unit is not a division but rather a certification, it is managed within the Special Units division. Every officer has the ability to become a pilot, get licensed within the department and help out fellow colleagues from the air.

=== Major Crimes ===
The major crimes division is the spearhead when it comes to gang activity or major incidents on Everon. You'll usually meet them when suspects got caught red-handed or situations need more support which go beyond normal patrol duty.

==== Undercover ====
The Undercover subdivsion is responsible for handling gang-affiliated information and is used whenever intelligence is more important than raw manpower. Internal protocols are unknown.

==== SWAT (Special Weapons And Tactics) ====
You will rarely see the boys in black. They are able to deploy special weaponry and vehicles to deal with the worst of the worst on Everon. Their primary use-case is to support and handle all incidents which are outside of the scope of normal department's duty.

=== Staff Advisory ===
This division is currently being built up and will be the 4th branch of the Everon Police Department. It will handle internal reports of officer misconduct, be in regular contact with the public, manage public events and the contact with the [[Press]].
