At the moment there is no possibility to lose your vehicle (even if it's broken) since it will always be stored in the garage after some time.

Each vehicle has a cost to take out of the garage, half of this fee is refunded when the vehicle is taken back to the garage. '''However''' if a police officer impounds a vehicle then the cost to take out of the garage will '''double''' the next time it is taken out.

The smartphone is a helpful tool to access many useful things, such as market prices or getting in touch with the police.

You won't spawn with a smartphone and you will have to buy it first. You can buy it from the [[General store|'''General store''']] for around '''1.000$'''.

Having a smartphone can have different advantages. You will be able to write '''Player Messages''', have a look at the [[Dynamic market|'''Dynamic Market''']], make an '''Emergency Call''' and have a look at the '''Black Market'''.

You can open up your smartphone via '''F2 (PC)'''. If not, please check your [[Controls]].

==Messenger==
Here you will be able to write Messages to other players on the [[How-to-join|server]]. As soon as you opened up the Messenger-App, you will see your recent chats. If you haven't had a chat yet, it will just be gray for you.

In the top right corner you will have a "Plus" symbol. If you press it, you will see every player on your current [[How-to-join|server]]. Select a player and type your initial message below. After that, press "Create Chat and send". Now you've sent your message to your selected player!

If you recieve a message, you will hear a notification Sound.

Now you won't have a grey space anymore and will find your chat you've just created back in the messenger menu. You can have a look at the pictures below.

With the recently released v.0.2.158 update for our Arma Life server comes a banking app exclusively available only on the in game smartphone.

With this new '''banking''' system, you won't need to go all the way to a market to take some cash out for a friend, also if that player/friend isn't in close proximity to you during the transfer, unlike giving cash to players, it wouldn't matter. Whoever your transferring money to can be as far as Pluto, so long as you have the money needed to make the transfer. '''(Transfers can only be made by transferring $1000 minimum.)''' To sell [[Goods|packed nature weed]] you have to consider and do some things beforehand. You have to '''buy seeds''' to grow and '''find a safe spot''' so your weed doesn't get destroyed by others. It definitely takes '''more time''' than usual farming routes because it's a passive way to farm. Nonetheless, you need to '''water your plant'''; otherwise, it will die. == Search a spot ==
After you chose your seeds, you now have to search for a safe spot to plant your seeds. It has to be secure, and only you or a trusted person should know the location; otherwise, a stranger could come by and steal or destroy everything.

Once you have selected your spot, you can plant your seeds via "Place object." Now you have to wait and water your crops a few times to make them grow.

''For example: If you want to plant Bubba Kush Seeds, it has a growing time of 24 hours. You can water it every 30 minutes but if you don't water it within 10 hours, the plant will die. There are several professions that civilians can choose. Professions give you a bonus to [[Skills|skill]] gain and could give you access to [[Producer|producers]] or [[Processor|processors]].

In most cases you need a specific skill level to get a profession. Changing professions costs 50.000$ and there is a 24 hour cooldown after changing.
